Renowned transformational leader, entrepreneur, and global speaker Edwin Musiime has been awarded an earned Doctorate in Leadership and Management. 

“The doctorate will add to my leadership strengths in my contribution to leadership development, enterprise transformation, and values-based influence across the African continent and on the global stage,” Dr. Edwin says.

Dr. Edwin’s area of focus was on the paradigm shift on Next Level Thinking in Leadership and Management for East Africa’s growth and development.

In order to have the next level thinking conversation more public, a book has been published and costumes the innovative thoughts of the leadership needed in the 21st century for individual, institutional, and national growth.

The awarded doctorate was conferred by Dr. Ron Johnson, Chancellor of Logos University, together with Dr. David Molapo, President of the I Can Institute, during a high-level ceremony attended by diplomats, business leaders, faith leaders, and changemakers from across the region.

For over two decades, Musiime has pioneered platforms that equip entrepreneurs, empower communities, and bridge the gap between faith and leadership. His initiatives, such as The Kingdom Network and Leadershift, have impacted hundreds across Africa.

For the last 10 years, he has championed the cause of young entrepreneurs as Chairman of the Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs. Under this initiative, he has inspired hundreds of entrepreneurs to attain growth in their stay up journeys.

He is also a board member of the Green economy East Africa championing for sustainability and climate change adaptive solutions.

As Chairman River Group, Dr. Musiime pledges to continue in his innovative leadership journey of making Africa proud of its own brands.

“This recognition is a reminder that leadership is a calling to serve with excellence, purpose, and vision,” said Musiime during his acceptance speech.

Dr. Ron Johnson commended Musiime as “a leader of unwavering integrity whose influence goes beyond borders,” while Dr. Molapo lauded him as “a catalyst for transformation in Africa’s leadership landscape.” 

The doctorate marks a significant milestone in Musiime’s mission to raise a new generation of principled, purpose-driven leaders. He also announced the upcoming launch of a Leadership and Innovation Centre to further mentor and equip emerging African visionaries.
